This remarkable and quite rare 1985 BMW 323i E30 two door coupe was chosen by BMW UK to feature in their promotional brochure and adverts for the launch of the new 3 series and was also owned by the Chairman of the East Midland branch of the BMW owners club, plus other club members.

Finished in Bronzit Beige metallic with a beautiful Brown Havana cloth interior and Bronze Tinted Glass, this 6 cylinder 2.3 truly does look stunning! With just 92,950 miles and a lovely service history. Superb throughout.

The factory optional colour of Bronzit Beige metallic looks superb across all of the factory fitted body panels. The car is remarkably straight along both sides and the paint finish is lovely. The factory fitted bronze tinted glass remains in excellent condition. The correct and original head lights and lower fog lights are clear and free from damage. All badges are lovely and bright. The chrome bumpers are completely straight and the chrome work is excellent. Door apertures are super clean and all factory stickers remain. The boot floor is excellent and the boot carpet is nice and clean and free from damage. The underside and running gear is lovely and clean. Supplying dealer number plates remain fitted front and rear. A beautiful example of this highly desirable 2 door E30.

Internally is again excellent. A tiny repair to the drivers seat base does not detract from this lovely cabin and the seat cloth is excellent. The soft touch dashboard is perfect and completely free from any cracks. Door cards and carpets are superb. The head lining is lovely and clean and free from any sagging. The factory tilt and slide sunroof is in perfect working order and the sunroof channels are lovely and clean. All switchgear is fully functional and all gauges are working correctly. This is a lovely place to be and the BMW quality from this era is very evident.

The factory optional alloy wheels are in great condition and are all shod with good quality Firestone tyres with great amounts of tread remaining.

Under the bonnet presents very well. It is very very clean and completely dry and free from leaks. The 6 cylinder straight 6 is silky smooth and performs surprisingly well. The gearbox is lovely and smooth in its operation. A full brand new exhaust system has very recently been fitted. This car has been maintained to a very high standard throughout its life time and the service book contains 24 service stamps. Additional invoices are also contained within the paperwork file.

The full owners handbook pack is present along with current V5 registration document, original sales brochure, mot certificate, a host of historic mot certificates, 2 keys and the original photo artwork from BMW UK when they borrowed and used the car in a promotional advert.
