|Colour||Electric Blue Metallic|
An exceptional 2003 Mini Cooper S. Enthusiast owned and cherished throughout its life, this fantastic example has covered just 55650 miles from new and is complete with a comprehensive service history.
Finished in the very striking colour of Electric Blue Metallic with white roof, mirror caps, alloy wheels and bonnet stripes, this lovely little car really does look superb! The factory applied paint is still in fantastic condition and it is very evident that this car has been looked after and treated with high end wax products throughout its life. The bodywork is as straight as you will find. We cannot even find the tiniest of car parking dents anywhere and only a few very small and well touched in stone chips are visible on the bonnet front upon very close inspection. The gloss black A-posts remain damage and scratch free. All the chrome door handles, window surrounds and fuel cap cover are excellent. All plastic wheel arch extensions are free from marks and damage and still retain their deep black lustre. The Xenon headlamps are scratch free and the chrome surrounds are unmarked. The gloss black bonnet scoop and front grill are superb...the original grill is present and boxed, should the new owner wish to convert back. In our opinion, this example is as good as you will find...
Internally, the black/blue half leather sports seats are excellent. The front passenger and the rear seats look to have had very minimal use. The leather is completely as new and the cloth is unmarked. The drivers seat shows only very, very little signs of wear, but it really is excellent. The silver centre console that very often gets scratched and chipped on these cars is just lovely and as new. The headlining is excellent. The door cards are unmarked and free from scratched and scuffs and the brushed satin centres are the same. The brushed satin dashboard inlay is as new. The blue carpet is lovely and clean and has been fitted with two sets of carpet mats placed over the top of the original Mini rubber mats. As you will see with the undamaged plastic sill scuff plates, great care has always been taken by everyone that has ever got in and out of this car. The boot plastics are again damage and scuff free. Anyone that views this car will appreciate that it has led a very pampered life.
The original 17" alloy wheels are in a very good un-refurbished condition. They have got the odd marks on them and they are all shod with good quality run-flat tyres with plenty of tread remaining.
Mechanically the car is superb and it drives incredibly well. It performs exactly as it should, its remarkably quiet from start up and there are no warning lights on the dashboard. The 6 speed manual gearbox is smooth and precise and the standard fit exhaust still has a very nice burble with it. The brakes pull the car to a swift halt and without drama...
As you would expect with a low mileage and cherished example, the history file is very comprehensive and confirms the meticulous upkeep from day one. Every single MOT is present since its very first one in 2006. The original service book is complete and contains 7 service stamps, the last one being carried out on the 6th October 2016 at 55321 miles. The car has now covered just 55650 miles. Every bill and receipt are present...everything from a light bulb to a service. The complete handbook pack is present along with 2 original keys. The current MOT runs until the 9th October 2017.
We are fully aware that these cars are around in plentiful numbers for around the £2000 bracket. The majority will have covered well in excess of 100000 miles and will be in a very tired and used condition. If you are in the market for a genuinely excellent and well maintained, low mileage early car, then we are confident that this example will tick all the boxes...they will be very difficult to find now in this cherished condition...
